A lesson in coronary diseases

The two arteries which branch off the aorta supply the blood that the cardiac muscle needs to function properly. If at the outset clogged arteries induce chest pain, they can also cause a myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. Because the heart is at the heart of what we do, 3Dmedicus was asked to create detailed illustrations via a website under the guidance of Dr Thomas Modine, cardiac surgeon at the CHRU hospital in Lille and Prof. Salem Kacet. Why do we have a heart? How does it function? What feeds it? Using precise diagrams and technical charts, 3Dmedicus helps us to understand the mysteries of the coronary system.
